Considering the worrying health situation, the selection and monitoring committee took place on October 27th and 28th 2020 by videoconferencing, in the presence of the Regional Authority of Guadeloupe which is the managing Authority represented by Marie-Luce PENCHARD - the 2nd vice president of the cooperation commission and European affairs and universities - as well as the representatives of the local authorities of Guadeloupe, Guiana, Martinique, Saint-Martin, the representatives of the Caribbean regional organisations (OECS, ACS, CARIFORUM) and the state representatives.
During the 7th selection committee, the 6 projects that had been submitted as they arise were evaluated according to precise regulatory criteria defined by the partnership. The projects promoters were able to present their projects appropriately responding to one or many issues of the cooperation area and implying a rich and relevant partnership. The 27 project ideas submitted during the CEI also received a view of the selection committee.
At the end of the votes, 14 projects submitted as they arise or as part of the second call for projects were approved by the members of the selection committee.

Then the mission of the joint secretary will be to accompany the project promoters to formalise their application file in order to transform the idea into a beneficial project for the Caribbean area.

The monitoring committee that took place on October 28th 2020, allowed the partners to validate the structure of the Operational Program of the INTERREG Caribbean 2021-2027 program.
