The 6th OECS Ministerial Council of the environment took place on May 15th to May 17th, 2019.

It gathered the elected representatives of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States to deal with environmental, climatic and sustainable development issues. The Sargasso issue was also discussed.

The meeting chairman of the Council of ministers, Louis Boutrin and the OECS ministers exchanged with different partners about the environmental development opportunities. Among them: the AFD, UN Environment, The Nature Conservancy, ECLAC, Green Climate Funds, The Global Green Growth Institute, The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute, Caribbean catastrophic Risk Insurance Facility....
